Bexley Seabury Engages with Episcopal Leaders at the 40th Annual EPN Conference
Kansas City, MO, March 13, 2024 — Bexley Seabury Seminary extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stopped by our booth or joined us at our reception during the 40th Annual Episcopal Parish Network (EPN) Conference in Kansas City.
The EPN Conference annually brings together Episcopal leaders from across the country, offering a rich space for learning, connection, and collaboration. The presence of alumni, partners, and new friends made this year’s gathering especially memorable for Bexley Seabury.
“It was particularly encouraging to witness the enthusiastic embrace of Bexley Seabury’s unique model of accessible and innovative theological education during my conversations with church leaders,” said Jonathan Silver, Director of Alumni Engagement. “The EPN Conference was filled with the joy of shared conversation, collaboration, and renewal.”
The Bexley Seabury team at EPN 2025 included:
The Rev. Dr. Jason Fout, Interim President (Seabury Western ’21)
The Rev. Dr. Thomas Ferguson, Interim Academic Dean, Associate Professor of Church History, and author of the upcoming history exploring the legacy of Bexley Seabury Seminary
The Rev. Dr. Eileen Shanley-Roberts, Director of Formation and Contextual Learning & Assistant Professor of the Practice of Ministry
Mr. Jonathan Silver, Director of Alumni Engagement
The Rev. Jeremy Simpson, Director of Admissions and Recruitment
As a seminary committed to innovation and accessibility, Bexley Seabury looks forward to nurturing the relationships that were deepened at EPN. The seminary continues to explore new pathways for leadership development, justice-rooted formation, and theological imagination.
“Our team left Kansas City inspired,” added Ash Love, Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “The connections made there affirm the importance of staying rooted in community as we look to the future of the Church.”
